Trēow - Tree bark ring in textured solid sterling silver
A large hammered and textured sterling silver ring, sculpted in the form of ancient tree bark.
Adorn to remain grounded, steadfast and unmoveable in all aspects of life.
The word Trēow is Old English for a forest or a grove of trees. It also means loyalty, faithfulness and grace. This talisman is inspired by a Yew tree close to my home, which is estimated to be over 1,600 years old. Ancient and unmovable.
A perfect gift to symbolise enduring love, and timeless devotion - or a personal talisman as a reminder of your own inner strength and stoicism. This ring can be personalised and engraved on the inside with wording or runes of your choosing.
Hand-finished and oxidised to create detailed shadows and highlights, accentuating the intricate hammered textures.

As each talisman is handmade to order, all jewels will ship approximately 4 - 6 weeks from the time of purchase.

You can choose between a ball chain or belcher chain, with multiple lengths available to suit how you like to wear your pieces. Chain length is the total length of the chain from end to end.
- 18–20" sits around the collarbone, with 20" resting close to the heart and being the most commonly chosen length.
- 22–24" falls slightly lower on the chest, ideal for everyday wear or layering.
- 26–30" creates a longer, more statement silhouette, especially suited to larger talismans.
If you’re unsure, 20" is a balanced and widely loved choice. If the length doesn’t feel quite right, I’m always happy to exchange your chain.
Each talisman is handmade to order and will usually be ready to ship within approximately 4–6 weeks. During especially busy periods, this may take a little longer.
